Settle the language before the opening
Original audio with translated text, a dubbed soundtrack and captions can serve different preferences. Agree on the combination for the group, then inspect the tracks at the viewing service. A translated movie heading is not proof of a dubbed video.
Original language is one piece of information
The language shown on a SockShare record identifies the production. It does not list every audio or subtitle track in each offer. Two services carrying the same film may have different editions.
Make the text comfortable
Read from the seat or position you will actually use. Where the player permits changes, adjust size, contrast or a background. Do not assume a tablet setting is also readable from the other side of a living room.
Check the exact episode
When returning to a series, select the intended season and episode before judging subtitle availability. A track offered on one episode or service does not prove the same combination for every other offer.
When words do not match
Confirm the production, track and episode, then reopen the track if it failed to load. Report persistent timing problems to the viewing service. The catalogue’s country or genre controls cannot repair an external caption file.
